Oil on canvas, 40cm x 40cm.
Dark Angel Series, # 12 /15.
Print is without watermark.

I have used a photo reference (slightly different...no wings, no hat, other colors & clothes) with permission of the person portrayed (Paul Mazzolini), so this is actually my "tribute" to somebody I admire.
It's not meant as a portrait though, just an inspiration! (I have slightly changed some features, especially in the reflection ^_^).
Also the title is a little reference...

Wow this is amazing! I love how you did the reflection, and the skin tones are wonderful. I also really like the depth of the tones.

 thank you ! hehe....why not? there could be something similar behind...I like the idea of a reflection revealing something different which is not shown on "this part"...sometimes things which look real can be more illusory than what their "reflections" can betray of them ;)

Yes, in the reflection you might see things you think is there but is really not. Your personal censure if you like. I've always been amazed about how different you look when you look in the mirror form when you see yourself shot by a camera. Especially motion pictures show a completely different pic of yourself. I was on TV once and I was like :faint: upon seeing myself (OMG am I that fat :cries: ?)
